Gorkamorka (cancelled) Ripcord Games 2001

This was a combat racing game based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe and was to be developed for the PC and Dreamcast but was cancelled with only a demo produced. Players can choose an Ork Mob warrior to either take control of the driver's seat or the gunner position in each vehicle with either the AI or another player taking the other seat. If a player wants to follow a specific driving strategy, it's better to take the driver's seat. Of course, if all a player wants to do is attack other cars, then the gunner position would be a better match. It has more than 20 vehicles and an equal number of courses. To make combat more interesting, there are traps set up around Gorkamorka's tracks, and location-based damage means that specific parts of a car can be targeted and blown off. As for multiplayer experience, there's support for up to 16 players. In this mode, the 16 players can drive 16 separate cars, or they can team up and use only eight cars with two people - one driving, the other shooting - per car.
