Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores Glu Mobile 2014

This game was inspired by the company's popular Deer Hunter 2014, and sees players traveling to a mysterious island inhabited by dinosaurs. As you might assume, this trip isn't a relaxing vacation on the beach. Instead, gamers are challenged with hunting the island's inhabitants, earning points for the accuracy and skill of their shots. On Facebook, gamers control the position of their character and aim of their weapons with a combination of keyboard and mouse controls. On each mission, gamers may hunt land or air-based dinosaurs, with different weapons required for each hunt. That is, shooting pterodactyls is easier to do with an assault rifle, while shooting a velociraptor at a long distance is easier with a rifle and its scope. As players hunt these creatures, they’ll need to fire enough shots to empty each dinosaur’s health bar. For carnivorous dinosaurs, hitting the dinosaur without killing it may cause it to turn and attack, opening up the opportunity for heart and other in-depth shots as hunters defend themselves. Hunts are categorized into different regions and varieties. A rifle hunt, for instance, offers hunting experiences specifically for rifles, while a contract hunt series may ask users to hunt with other weapons. The more missions players complete, the more puzzle pieces they'll receive to unlock additional hunting regions. Outside of hunts, players spend their money on additional weapons, and upgrades for their existing guns. A barrel upgrade, for instance, can increase the power and stability of a weapon, while sight upgrades increase the maximum zooming distance of the scope, and so on. Eventually, players will unlock additional categories of weapons, including shotguns. Players spend energy to complete each hunt, but this energy recharges automatically over time. Gamers can spend money on premium weapons in the game's store. These weapons are sometimes associated with special "exotic hunts", which operate as try-before-you-buy scenarios for gamers looking to learn more before spending real money.
