This vertical shooter features two playable biplanes to select from, six stages to beat, and the usual smattering of boss encounters for good measure. There are bombs and power-up items to collect, and if you're feeling brave enough, you can grab all of the pyramid-shaped objects left behind by your enemies for points as well. The first stage is pretty much a standard mission above a sea port, but by the end of your journey you will have flown over cities, mountains, clouds, and even into space. Though the game occasionally ventures into bullet hell territory with the boss fights, the creator is still merciful enough to allow the use of continues once you lose all of your planes in battle. Gamepad support can be enabled via the settings menu, but with no D-pad controls you're better off just using the keyboard to play. |
