ring^-27 (pronounced: "ring power negative twenty seven) is a low resolution vertical shooting game and the second project by its developer. It was inspired by some of Cave's shooting games, using complicated score mechanics and game modes which can be found in Hellsinker. Introducing "Anchor", a secondary weapon that is capable of piercing enemies, create massive explosion and generating points or items. There are six levels, four game modes (Anchor, Bomb, Circle and Device - ABCD in short), two difficulties; Easy and Normal with Extra Hard mode that will be added gradually as player progress through the game. It was released at Comiket 80. |
