This HL2 mod by Alan Edwardes, formerly entitled Splooshe, has been three years in the making. Estranged, the story of a lone fisherman, stranded on a mysterious island during a violent storm. Explore rich environments and meet the curious inhabitants of the island as you find a way back to the mainland… You will soon discover something is going wrong on this island. Estranged gives you one hour of gameplay-centered story, it only includes original characters that have been carefully scripted. The dynamical lighting system has been improved in order to light up the levels in a realistic way, and effects such as film grain or lens flare have been introduced to build up a new ambiance. Also, a original soundtrack has been entirely composed for the game. |
