This is a short retro-styled WebGL first person shooter set in a Mayan setting, consisting of just six levels and a boss. The game was build on top of my HTML5 Game Engine Impact and is entirely written in JavaScript. The player is tasked with fighting his way through the tunnels of a Mayan temple, encountering enemies both mystical and mechanical. Occasionally you will have to find a key to unlock a door, and there are hazards spread out such as fire pools and explosive barrels. There are three weapons you acquire through the game; your starting plasma rifle that will automatically recharge ammunition, a double-barreled shotgun, and a rocket launcher. As in older such games you cannot look up or down, all action takes place on a horizontal plane. |
