Multiplayer-focused space simulator set in a fictional universe created for the MMO title, EVE Online. This game is set in the distant future, long after humans living in the New Eden solar system get separated from the rest of the universe because of the collapse of a wormhole leading back to the Milky Way. Isolated from their kinsmen, in time they split up into five opposing factions competing for resources and space for expansion. The game puts you in the cockpit of one of the fighters known from EVE Online and participate in space skirmishes. The gameplay was designed to reward skill of individual players, not the statistics of their characters. What is more, it supports virtual reality headsets for an even more immersive experience. It ships with all preorders of the Oculus Rift. |
