Kuma\War: The War On Terror Kuma Reality Games 2004

Kuma: War started as a subscription service ($9.95 per month allowed you to download weekly levels and monthly major missions) that put players in the frontlines of international conflict with real-world missions based on breaking news. First/third-person tactical and vehicle-based games are updated weekly, and automatically downloaded to the subscriber's computer to reflect unfolding events as they occur. Players will be briefed with real world news reporting, KH-11 satellite imagery, and expansive intelligence provided by a decorated team of military experts, preparing gamers for actual missions based on real-world conflicts. It is a compilation of some of the most critical battles fought in Iraq and Afghanistan since the beginning of the war, as released on the KumaWar online service. The CD-based retail product contains 15 playable missions featuring military hotspots around the world including Mosul, Fallujah and Sadr City and including units from the 10th Mountain Division, 101st Airborne and the U.S. Marine Corps as they take on well-armed insurgents, al Qaeda, Taliban fighters, and terrorists throughout the world. KumaWar: The War on Terror also includes one exclusive mission, only available in the retail product, detailing Navy Cross Medal recipient Marine Capt. Brian R. Chontosh and his comrades extraordinary contribution to Operation Iraqi Freedom on March 25, 2003. The game later became free through advertiser sponsors. 74 episodes were released before the second version of the game, Kuma\\War II, was released on July/2006 where another 50 episodes have been released so far.
