A horizontal shooter, a 3D remake of Defender. In fact it is a 2D horizontal scrolling shooter with 3D graphics. As remake it is great, but as Space shooter it has too less effects, too less variety in the graphics, no powerups, no new weapons etc. Story: Alien craft are trying to capture Humans and use them to mutate into superior attack craft, its up to you to stop them. There are 6 types of Alien craft: Abductors, Mutant Abductors, Swarmers, Pods, Mine Layers, Saucers. You start with 10 humans to protect, 3 lives and 3 Nukes. Use your laser to shoot the alien craft, try not to shoot the humans. Avoid crashing into aliens, alien shots or mines as you will lose a life. Extra life and nuke awarded every 20000 points. Game is over when you run out of lives. |
