This was originally a Half-Life 2 Mod released in 2007 that was inspired by Team Fortress. An independent team has recreated this mod entirely from scratch. Fortress Forever should please those who have stuck with or been a part of QWTF and TFC over the years while at the same time doing more for new TF players than any prior Fortress attempt. It involves two or more teams, each with 9 available classes, competing in a variety of map-determined objectives (capture the flag, territorial control, invade and defend, etc). Each class has its own unique abilities and strengths that offer extremely varied playstyles. The gameplay ranges from fast-paced, competitive, and deep to absurd and chaotic. It became standalone free game on Steam with installation of Source SDK Base 2006. It has a training level and in-game hints, and extensive map scripting/customization using Lua. | ||
