This Half-Life 2 mod which was 7 years in development won PC Gamer's mod of the year in 2011 as well as ModDB's multiplayer mod of the year. With the Source SDK, you can play it as a standalone game. It's inspired by the Living Dead movies of George Romero. The title is a quote from the movie Dawn of the Dead, "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." The zombies in the game are computer-controlled. Up to eight players can play online as the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. In objective mode, the survivors must complete a series of objectives that will allow them to be rescued. The gameplay is based around survival horror. Firearms and ammunition are limited in availability. Whoever perishes from the disease gets up and kills, and the people they killed get up and kill. Dynamic Objective Maps: The next playthrough may not be the same like the last. Survival Mode: Defend and maintain your shelter against the undead in the hopes of getting extracted to a safe area. There's 27 weapons and counting, ranging from the diminutive .22 Target Pistol, to the almighty Chainsaw. | ||
