Grezzo2 claims it's a first-person shooter of 1984 (thereby explaining its shitty graphics). It's an Italian satiric game using various pieces of old type games such as Duke Nukem, Doom, Quake, and Age Of Empires, all shoved into an old and ugly graphics engine. It's a tribute to classic and extreme video game violence, to a time when enemies exploded into a thousand red coarsely chopped pieces, when the games cost less and they were vulgar, morally harmful and you could run over grandmothers with the car on the street, not like games now - pale simulations of real war where Iraqis do not bleed even after they're shot in the teeth. There's a training level, when finished you take the truck outside to your home. Then you go on a rampage at church to prevent the second coming of Christ and later you go to the movies, a bowling green, and brutalize Vasco Rossi on stage at Umbria Jazz. There's also a deathmatch where the first person with 15 kills wins. The characters speak strictly in the dialect of Perugia. The dialogues of the characters are in fact freely drawn from the dubbing of Apomatto and 7cervelli. In 2014, Trip to Merdjugorie, an expansion was released with 20 new weapons, 12 new levels, new shit from celebrities to brutalize, a true FINAL theme, many old bugs fixed plus new bugs and a bang of other stuff that you will discover. |
