Perdition's Gate ZDoom Port 1996

Marine no. 2 has discovered an underground gateway in an abandonned UAC base; if the invasion fails, they can launch a counter-attack when Earth is wallowing in false-victory! The gateway is being powered by two super-generators which must be shut down. This port to ZDoom also adds new weapons and enemies different from the ones added to ZH2P, as well as a new soundtrack. Duke it out in D.C.'s MIDI music was added, saving memory, but that wasn't the reason why - it gave the maps more of a military atmosphere. The demo had eleven levels this time. The story was altered to work in parallel with Hell to Pay. Evil Excavation is the second half of the levels. Marine no. 3 has been sent home for R&R, but has returned at the worst time! Erebus was being mined by the ICF for minerals until they discovered the presence of an ancient artifact on the radars - a fleshy, pale beating heart. This could allow beings to open portals. Once discovered, the invaders attacked the mining zones, in which the thing that was hosting the artifact has used its powers to split parts of Erebus into floating zones in the void. What could be harnessing its powers? Once the artifact is destroyed, it'll close the invaders' shortcut from Planet Hell for good. It uses Mark Knight's music once again and combines the weapons from the previous ports and most of the foes as well, which makes up for the lack of the mini-games in this one. Coloured lighting, lifts and doors with varying speeds, deep water, and plenty more features, but once again it is compatable for Skulltag as well.
