TimeGate Orlando and David Rivera / TimeView 1995

This is a very obscure FPS - a real "jurassic" shooter of "epoch" proportions. This game is based on a world in an alternate reality in some past time. This once idyllic world was once protected by the an ancient order - The Dino Riders - which kept the evil that every world has at bay. Until the TimeGate (time rift) appeared to the Dark Ones. The balance of power was shifted and the battles began. The Dino Riders prevailed but at the cost of their union. The evil artifacts spread throughout the land seducing many with the promise of unlimited power. The TimeGate was not able to be destroyed so before the end of the last true Dino Riders, the TimeGate was hidden with 3 Keys in three areas in order to try and prevent the total demise of good from the land. Years later one of the keys has been found by the Dark ones and the threat of total domination is at hand again. Some ancient scrolls have been discovered that gave some clues how to destroy the Timegate or control it. You (the player) are a direct descendant of one of the greatest Dino Riders of all. Trained by the last Dino Rider Master and hidden from the Dark ones; you are forced out of hiding. And with the new threat to the land, the last of Dino Rider of the original order - Rides again. It's made up of two levels that are connected together creating this world which is much like an ancient large world (just under a quarter of a square mile in scale). You first appear in the outdoors. You will find mazes, castles, a city, and jungle area. Encounter trees, roads, bullets, health vases, armor, Trexs, cave-like areas and traps, etc. This 16-bit game is a true Windows 3.1 16 bit game using WinG. A 32-bit version called The Dinosaurs Are Out was planned but never completed.
