Each young girl's ensemble reflects the specific era in which she lived (1774, 1824, 1854, 1864, 1904 and 1944). While choosing dress patterns, colors, accessories, hats, shoes and more, each girl provides facts pertaining to her time period including such items as the types of food, chores, school study subjects and the types of clothing worn. Using a point-and-click interface, The American Girls Dress Designer allows you to create and design new outfits, drawing from a large on-CD library of fashion options.
