Gear is a puzzle/platformer containing hand-drawn animations made by students at DigiPen Institute Of Technology. At the first Indie Game Challenge, this DigiPen Sophomore game team was awarded the $100,000 non-professional grand prize for their game. The player must use the hero's ability to change his hand into a gear in order to beat the game. The hero will have to swing, ride, swim, and even spin the world in order to get through the ten original levels this game has to offer. On 11-17-2010, a revised version called Gear: Full Circle was released that includes 8 new levels, an enhanced level editor, and a bunch of bug/compatibility fixes. |
