This is one of the great console 3D RPGs ported to the PC. Grandia II captivated Dreamcast owners with its effective characterizations, detailed environments and innovative combat system. Some 10,000 years ago, the god of light vanquished the dark god Valmar, although the battle created a great rift that now divides the world in two. When there surfaces the possibility of Valmar's rebirth, a female Church singer named Elena and her bodyguard, Ryudo (who doesn't much like churches or females), set out on a quest to prevent it. Along the way, they will have to fight evil forces and interact with a number of helpful characters. Grandia's battle system is an innovative mix of turn-based, strategy, and real-time elements. In your epic journey you'll explore dank and dangerous dungeons, utilize powerful magic, gather precious items, and battle fierce enemies. In 2015, Grandia II Anniversary Edition was released and renamed as Grandia II HD Remaster in 2019.
