You are sent to the Icarus Space Station to investigate the outbreak of
radiation sickness aboard the Station. Upon your arrival it quickly becomes evident
that radiation is the least of your worries. The Captain of the station has been
murdered by an on-board assassin. A power struggle has ensued while you were enroute
to see who will take over the station which is now mysteriously careening dangerously
toward the sun. Do you take the fast & easy way out... save yourself or will you try
and resuce the station and its inhabitance? Your decisions determine what happens
next in the unique sci-fi role playing adventure game. Unparalleled in-game artificial intelligence will challenge you over & over as it randomizes subplots, it's NEVER the
same game twice. Probably the most interesting thing about Sentient is that it does
make you feel as if you're onboard a space station. Unique communication methods
allow you to interact with over 60 characters in the game and the characters react to
emotions and actions. The fantastic real-time rendered graphics are dazzling. It's
an ambitious first-person adventure game that features many interesting innovations,
but the game is bogged down by poor execution and a frustrating user interface. |
