Treasure Island Front Street Publishing / Europress Software 1997

Treasure Island is the second in the Living Classics series of animated stories. An animated, interactive, talking storybook of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale of buried treasure and cutthroat pirates plus 4 exiting games to play. Read the story, see the famous scenes (with hundreds of surprises hidden in each scene), and listen as Shakespearean actors give voice to the characters. Then play the 4 games: defend the stockade, rescue your shipmates, fight off an enemy fleet, and escape from the jungle. Designed with Windows 95 in mind, and an example of what can be achieved using Klick and Create the new multimedia authoring tool from Europress. It's also the first interactive story book to feature Dolby Surround Sound, which should mean that although your vision is restricted to the size of your TV screen, your ears now take you right in the 'heart' of the action. The CD-Rom also doubles as an audio CD and be be used on any CD Audio player.
