Children between the ages of 4-10 enjoy fairy tales - particularly fairy tales with a prince and a princess as the main characters. In Cinderella, a poor young girl wins the heart of a prince - with a little help from her fairy godmother. Most children will be familiar with the story of Cinderella - but not necessarily with this version. In the Discis version, Cinderella: The Original Fairy Tale, Cinderella, who is "both good and beautiful," still marries the prince. In this version, the stepsisters beg Cinderella to forgive them for treating her so badly. Cinderella forgives her two stepsisters and also finds rooms in the palace for them - Cinderella even arranges aristocratic matches for them! |
