The Adventures of CJ's Closet offers children a non-violent alternative to adventuring. Featuring ten stories with Biblical themes, the content is designed to strengthen values and reinforce positive principles through interactive games, puzzles (jigsaw and sliding), and word searches. Although each adventure story espouses a specific moral supported by a quoted Biblical verse, the game is designed to appeal to children in the 5-8 age group regardless of religious affiliation or exposure to the Bible. Five characters live in CJ's closet: Billie, Louie, Scooter, Catch and Zoie. In addition to teaching hand-eye coordination, The Adventures of CJ's Closet emphasizes everyday skills including problem solving, deductive reasoning, focus, and working with others. A point-and-click interface allows even the youngest of the age group easy access to the various screens and options, whether navigating the stories, dragging and placing puzzle pieces, searching for words in a matrix of letters, bombing targets in the water balloon gallery, or hunting butterflies.
