Barn Runner TackyWorld Interactive 2003

This is a series of free adventure games made with AGS though there are also arcade games with the same characters as well (they aren't listed here). Prick Peckard is a detective in Evansville, in a world where the Earth has been reduced to wasteland and where humanity is living in great and enclosed cities. But humans aren't working except for a few; in reality, robots are doing everything that the people don't want to do anymore (like cleaning). However, some robots are dreaming of freedom, which is not allowed. Some of them are turning against humans. That's why a Robot Crimes Division was created. Peckard is one of the officers working in the department. #1 The Armageddon Eclair When he's given the case of a runaway robot, he doesn't know that he will live a dangerous adventure. The game is divided into two distinct parts. Finishing the first one will give you the password for the second. Xmas 0 Christmas Soup (2009) This features someone other than Prick as the player character. This short game showcases the domestic holiday adventures of Noriko and The Chief as they try to get everything ready in time for Christmas. But be warned, this mini-game has quite a bit of cheesecake semi-nudity. #4 The Prick Who Came In From The Cold (2004) This game also provides a great deal of back story for the Barn Runner universe (though you'll have to do a lot of looking around and ask a lot of questions to find it all). For the die hard Barn Runner fan who wants to know more about the wacky world Prick inhabits, this is the game for you. This small game has only about a dozen items to find, only one person to talk to, and a rather limited world to explore but there's also comic book style cut scenes. Xmas 2 Wreck The Halls (2007) The Chief orders Prick into the wilds of the BGCZ on a particularly festive winter night. His mission: Locate the source of a radio signal that is gathering escaped murderous robots together... but for what purpose? AGS Bake Sale 1: The Rich Dame Who Cut The Cheese (2012) created for a fundraiser to benefit the Child's Play Charity, Prick must find out who stole a wheel of antique cheese meant to be the centerpiece for an exclusive party for Evansville's most rich and famous. Along the way, he'll encounter stuffed shirts, plunging necklines, co-workers in fancy dresses, corrupt politicians, exotic Spanish accents, uncomfortable encounters in the mens's room, abandoned underwear, an AGS forum member masquerading as a lounge singer, gigantic TVs, cartoonishly over-sized breasts, crisp white linen, reflecting mirrors, overpriced cocktails, abundant whipped cream, and looping rooms! All this and Oceanspirit Dennis too! #5 The Forever Friday (2008-2012) Prick Peckard and his very much unwanted partner have to work together to reverse the effects of the Big Crazy before it claims Evansville as it has so many cities before. Has Prick's old foe The Robot Revolution finally succeeded in it's bid to bring about the last days of Mankind? Or does the appearance of a new cult preaching a doctrine of apocalypse have anything to do with this calamity? Most of all, can Prick find some way to ditch his new partner? This is a full-sized, epic length story consisting of a point-and-click adventure game, a first person shooter and a scrolling flight combat arcade game with four characters for the player to control and all the ridiculous moments you've come to expect. It has six chapters. Packed with extensive cut scenes, hidden quests, and loads upon loads of people of questionable innocence to interrogate, it is sure to be the ultimate Barn Runner experience, and all arcade sequences will be completely optional, you can even choose to skip them "on the fly" without restarting the game! Chapters 5 and 6 are still to be released.
