Kids, 8-11, experiment with light, sound and electricity with this amazing program by Edmark. Players are the guest director of an exciting concert by the ZAP! Stars. There are some problems that need attention and only super science smarts can save the day. Kids visit three learning environments, the Laser Lab, Sound Wave Studio and Electro Loft. Students explore and work with light, sound and electricity and along the way collect components and controls to rehearse and perform a concert. In Electroloft help surge examine simple series and parallel circuits to determine the problem and fix them. Kids explore electricity using batteries, lights, wires, switches and other components. Blaze is in the Laser Lab where she needs help hatching her flashlight friends. Kids arrange lights, mirrors, lenses, color mixers, splitters and filters to direct lasers. There is also a Sci-Clopedia so students can make notes or print articles. This is a unique and engaging program that kids will have a blast with. |
