This is an episodic pixel art horror adventure game for the web browser. It has a thrilling story, and a great atmosphere through art, sound and music. It's influenced by Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft. Chapter 1: The Letter (Mar 11) The story starts in the late 19th century in the south of England. Good times for science, psychology and art. The main character (who is waiting to get his name from a backer), receives a letter from his old friend Anthony asking for help. A strange request, since it has been long time since they were colleagues at the University. But when he arrives to his house in the Sussex county he finds that something horrible might be happening. Playing a chapter may take about 15-40 minutes but there might be weeks between them. Between releases there will be other minor releases with extra content. New chapters are always first released for premium members, when new chapters are released previous ones become available to free registered users. Each chapter will have a set of extended features linked to the community, such as a forum, a section of chapter-based secrets, quizzes or ingame comments. Chapter 2: Memories (Jun 21) This chapter takes us to Scotland, to the remote boarding school where all started, decades ago. Once there, we shall learn about old memories and secret experiments, and meet other group members. Chapter 3: The Four Witnesses (Oct 18) The main character will manage to overcome the difficult situation in which he was involved in the last chapter. He will continue his dangerous journey, ending up in a strange city, not knowing how he got there. Then he will have to explore a risky and sordid slum to discover the real truth of his past. Chapter 4: Ancient Shadows (Feb 14/2014) is the finale that follows Jeremiah Devitt to Pevensey county in East Sussex, on a trip to find the answers to questions raised in previous chapters. A Collector's Edition came out in May 20/2014 that included all four chapters and featured all-new puzzles, scenes, and stories, as well as enhanced graphics and remastered sound. | ||
