Ascension is a psychological horror game where you play as Atticus, a grounds keeper who has brought his sick daughter to work on the day of a horrible accident. Separated from her, you must find your way back before something else reaches her first. It's a freeware side-scrolling horror game set within a plague-ridden skyscraper. Ascension gives players limited visibility in the skyscraper's dark corridors; while you have a mouse-controlled flashlight, it will attract attention from enemies, and your character will need to hold his breath in darkness in order to avoid being seen. It's creepy stuff! It's recommended playing in a dark room with headphones to get the most from the experience. | ||
