Stiny Noci (Night Shadows) is a classic Czech text-based adventure, with text description and a small graphics window, programmed by Vladimir Peníšek and Computer Experts group. Graphics of user interface and pictures has an amateur feel, but the story, gameplay and control are at a high level, even in today's perspective. Interface is divided into 3 parts: the right picture of the current situation, left 15 control icons and the bottom (larger) part of the screen showing the text. The player is in the role of a secret agent, trying to prove the guilt of a terrorist. It was also included in a compilation called Triptych with two other Czech games - Muzeum Mrtvol and OK Cash Machine. |
