Carmen Sandiego is up to her old tricks again. She's invented a new machine, the Quantum Crystalizer, that will shrink down places, buildings, and items until they can be stored in a not too large crystal. In fact, she's stolen 12 of the world's biggest, largest, longest, highest monuments and shrunk them down into crystal form. Then she took the crystals and hid them at some of her henchmen's hideouts all over the world. You are Agent Nine. It's your job to track down the codes necessary to open the safes that Carmen has hidden the crystals in, and restore the 12 monuments to their rightful places in the world. Aided by your chief, Chase Masterson, and his falcon companion Athena, you will have to seek out the clues hidden in the hideouts of Carmen's henchmen and decode them to find the correct passwords to open the safes.
