Bear Go Home Phoenix Seed 2007

This is a short, side-scrolling action game, in which the player influences the movements of a cartoony bear character on its perilous way to its home. Using the mouse, the player can squeeze, pull and stretch the bear as it walks, helping it overcome various obstacles on its way, such as jumping across pits and boulders, squeezing through narrow tunnels, or extending its jaw to catch flying strawberries or apples for points. The bear can also magically transform itself into 4 special avatars, each with their own special skill, some of which are required at certain places in the game. The bear's opponents are cartoony snails and frogs, and pumpkin masks and bee-hives dropping from the sky, and the game features two boss encounters, that each require a unique strategy. The visual style is inspired by LocoRoco. It was nominated for BAFTA Ones To Watch Award for amateur developers.
