This will consist of 3 expansions to be released every two months from June to October 2021. The main theme of the Price of Power set is magic and how different factions are seeking, fighting, or exploiting it. Each expansion will bring new cards and strategies to the players’ arsenals and advance the storyline of the set. Once Upon A Pyre (Jun 8) will introduce 26 new cards: 4 cards of different rarities per faction and 2 neutrals. New abilities and gameplay mechanics will also be making their way into the game, bringing fresh and powerful synergies to take advantage of in battle. Thanedd Coup (Aug 3) we receive 26 cards related to the bloody clash that took place on the island of Thanedd during the wizards' convention. It's set during the titular Coup. It took place on the island of Thanedd, during a wizard convention described in The Witcher saga, and culminated in a bloody clash between Nilfgaard supporters and mages supporting the Northern Kingdoms. Four new cards for each faction and two neutral cards are at our disposal. Harvest of Sorrow (Oct 5) revolves around the last battles fought on the continent after the Coup on Thanedd (presented in the previous add-on). | ||
